The title, Metamorphosis, refers to both the movement in the way that it morphs throughout the piece, and to the interactions between people who constantly adapt to suit their given circumstances in terms of relationship and space. The idea was formed around the premise of six people interlinked in one way or another, in which I investigated the shifts and patterns that might force disparate characters to interact with one another in a fleeting moment – a slice of life. These interactions bring to the fore the idiosyncratic gestures and movements belonging to the story brought by each character/group into each space and the metamorphosis thereof.
